DR KENNETH (KEN) KOH

MBBS (QLD) FRACGP
S100 HIV Community prescriber

Hello, what can I help you with today?

I am Dr Ken Koh – Father, Life partner, Son, Brother, Researcher, Educator, Sexual Health Doctor, HIV S100 Prescriber, Swimmer, Coach, Traveller… Your General Practitioner.

I enjoy going on your healthcare journey with you – occasionally leading, more often walking alongside you. It is a privilege for me to provide you with long term continuing care which is one of the rewards of being a General Practitioner.

Of Chinese Malaysian heritage, I completed my medical degree in 1996 at the University of Queensland School of Medicine and interned at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. I then spent a year in the USA, travelling and summer camp counselling. After working in various clinical areas in the Queensland public and private hospital systems, I undertook and completed my General Practice training in 2007/2008.

I believe that having had an interesting and varied professional, and personal, journey enables me to have a holistic approach to General Practice and to your healthcare.

I have a special interest in the full spectrum of Sexual Health Medicine (all genders) which I believe to be an important part of General Practice. I have a particular interest in preventing HIV, providing holistic care to People Living with HIV, and have been an Accredited S100 Community Prescriber (HIV Medication) since 2007.
